Ted just woke up facing the foot of bed

Tedster is asleep, Nadia at the masseur, guess i should use this time more useful than browsing around on the interwebs?
Here's a very interesting toy for bargain hunting on eBay, based on common misspellings: http://ping.fm/lh7fh

Tedster just had a ball playing on the balcony (29 degrees in shadow) with a lot of water, Nadia, myself, Ted and balcony all got soaked!
Heading off to the gasstation and then off to Amsterdam. Car is completely healthy and fit again after a day at the garage.
moved into a room with a working airco. unfortunately the airco was meant for a room 25% the size of this room...

Seems the heat broke demis...

the interwebs in Emmeloord seem to go over a 9600 baud modem today....
crazy cardealers want me to pay 240 ex VAT for an update of the maps for my satnav! Guess they have never heard of eBay? :)
not looking forward to experience the non-functioning airco in Emmeloord today.

I guess quite a lot of people using Twitter and things like that have a latent form of Athazagoraphobia
Not very nice to hear, with partial dependency on them: Diageo to cut 900 Scottish jobs: http://ping.fm/nX7N0
Interesting to see that there are so few adequate HR people in the world and even fewer of them working for big companies.

Finally getting a fence around the water

Eating a snack on the way to the gp

getting ready to go with Tedster to the GP to have his chickenpox checked. If it indeed is chickenpox ofcourse :)

Awake and having fruit on the balcony

trying to call the doctor to ask somethings about chickenpox. Turns out to be quite a challange, been put on hold 3 times now
Ted let us sleep till 7 and had a nice surprise: he pooed, not just a bit. he managed to cover sheets, blanket, himself....

Tuesday, 30 June 2009

had some beers with Alfred, Laura and Martin van Vliet. Was very nice and been a long time since I spoke to Martin. Great to see him again!

Enjoying Tedster playing around with everything except actual toys, serving tray and mobile phone are favorites.
Robin is wearing very very disturbing sunglasses today...
building a presentation which mainly covers numbers is not quite the fun I was hoping to have today
No matter how you look at it, filing PO's is boring and tedious work and I absolutely don't like doing it
finally managed to get my old mailserver out. I might lose a few mails, but thankfully I now have way more control over my (new) server!
grmbl, mid summer, wonderful weather and I caught a cold...

Cool! I just seem to have killed one of my gmail accounts by attempting to remove all (650k messages) email in one go via imap
Had @aikomastboom over for the afternoon. Was good to see him again, even though he seemed a little bit gloomy today. we should meet more!

Tomato tree

The Tomato Tree on our balcony is starting to grow up to redu

We have already been having fun with it. At the end of the day turn it so that the leaves are no longer facing the sunny side and 24 hours later check what the plant is now facing. It invariably has turned itself around to have the big leaves face completely into the sun again.
Really fun to see, guess it gets a boring game for the plant very fast though.

Anyway, we were surprised at the size these leaves get, way bigger than my hands!

just found out that rbsworldpay is not aware that they have a problem... always nice to know you can rely on your partners :)
